The Class of 2001 reunion last October drew 68 out of 80 classmates – an 85% attendance rate that surprised even the organizers. "We started planning 18 months in advance," said committee chair Lisa Martinez. "Early communication was key – we sent personalized emails with class photos and memory prompts."
Instead of a generic "save the date," they included a quick video montage of old yearbook photos set to "Don't Stop Believin'." The event featured a Friday night barbecue at Lions Club Park, Saturday golf tournament, and Sunday brunch with family.
Class leaders can coordinate with the association for reunion weekends. Last year's alignment with homecoming brought in extra alumni and introduced more people to current student programs.
